Your privacy and your money both matter in a real estate transaction. This notice explains how we handle what you tell us and what you can do to stay safe from fraud.

How we handle client information

We treat what clients tell us about their finances, plans and motives as confidential. We share it only with the people needed to complete your transaction, such as the brokerage, lender, title company and other professionals you ask us to work with, or when the law requires it.

What not to send us here

Website forms and regular email are not secure. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account or card numbers, passwords or copies of identification through them. If we need sensitive documents, we will use a secure method and tell you how.

Wire fraud warning

Criminals send fake emails that look like they come from a title company, lender or agent and change the wiring instructions. People lose the money for a down payment or closing this way.

  • Never wire money based only on an email or text.
  • Before you wire, call the title company using a phone number you already know is real, not one in the email, and confirm every detail.
  • Be suspicious of any last minute change to wiring instructions.
  • If you think you have been targeted, call your bank right away and contact the title company, then call us.

Our confirmation

We will never ask you to wire money to us or change wiring instructions by email. Wire instructions come from the title or escrow company.

Confidential messages

Emails and documents from us may contain confidential information meant only for the person addressed. If you receive one by mistake, please tell us and delete it.
